KICKBOXING FITNESS

At DF.GYM you don’t have to be a pro-fighter to get the fitness benefits of real Muay Thai training. Our fun and exciting Kickboxing Fitness class is programmed as a non-contact one hour group session that has you learning real Muay Thai combos from professional trainers. Participants can enjoy the fun and challenge of Martial Arts without the stress of injury or the pressure to compete. With state of the art safety equipment and fully qualified Muay Thai, kickboxing and boxing instructors, with real fight experience, it’s an unmatched combat workout… And all this while hanging out with an awesome group of likeminded members and trainers that help push you to your limits, there really is no better way to stay in shape.

CROSS TRAINING

A VARIETY OF FUN CHALLENGING FUNCTIONAL WORKOUTS FOR EVERYONE

Our high intensity Cross Training classes are jam packed with fun and challenging exercises to help develop lean muscle, cardiovascular fitness and overall strength for our variety of athletes and every day people. We have participants from all walks of life and of varying skills and abilities, grandmas and professional athletes regularly train happily side be side at DF.GYM. Push-ups, running, pull-ups, sandbags, squats, box jumps, deadlifts, wall balls… the list goes on, it’s constantly varied to keep your mind fresh and your body guessing. Programmed by the experienced trainers at DF.GYM the workouts can be scaled up or down according to your abilities and our coaches are very hands on, making sure everyone is working in a safe and efficient manner and getting the best results possible. You will be welcomed into theDF family culture which means you are never working out alone and we will high five each other right through to the very last rep.

60min – BEGGINNERS WELCOME

During your first free session our coaching staff will do an informal assessment to ensure you become familiar with the basic movements and can safely participate in our group class programming. If you don’t have any Cross Training experience we recommend you do 2 Cross Training Fundamentals PTs with one of our Head Coaches to get you started on the road to safe training habits.

OPEN GYM

USE OUR FACILITY TO IT’S FULL POTENTIAL TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP

Our open gym times are not instructed but they are supervised by a trainer and are a great opportunity to do some extra training. You can hone in on your skills, work on your weaknesses or maybe do some active recovery and roll out. It’s also often the time when trainers do their own training or shift workers and uni students come and catch up on a missed workout in a time that suits them better. You will often see Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Olympic Weightlifting, extra strength training etc. and sometimes all happening at once in different areas of the gym. We have a big facility and we encourage people to use it to its full capacity. People are welcome to use the gym in a scheduled Open Gym time slots, or in any time there is a scheduled class on the timetable, as long as they are not using equipment that is needed for a class. e.g. If there is a Sparring or Junior Muay Thai class on in the group fitness area you are welcome to use the cross training area, bag area or weight lifting platforms etc as long as you are not interfering with the running of any class. Come and be part of the gym culture, even when you can’t make a class.

Training Experience Necessary

As this class is not instructed by a trainer, our coaching staff will do an informal assessment to ensure you are training is a safe manner. If you want our experienced coaching staff to write you a program that you can complete during Open Gym times then you need to book in with one our Head Trainers to get you started on the road to safe training habits and proper technique.
